1. Names, exactly as they appear on the passport

2. That connections are reasonable
A short layover can be a real problem, especially if it involves changing terminals. Check that the time between flights gives enough room to walk without rushing.
3. Travel insurance, if the destination requires it
If they're going to Europe, for example, insurance with minimum coverage is usually mandatory. And in any destination, traveling with medical insurance gives peace of mind in case of a health issue.
4. That the hotel is where they picture it
A quick look at a map avoids them ending up at a hotel far from downtown, something that sometimes doesn't come across well in photos.
5. What to do if something changes
Make sure they know, before traveling, whether their bookings can be modified or cancelled, and what number or email to use if they need it.
